United States Marine

Viet Nam Veteran

standing in line at the grocery store, Bob was at the check out counter, I was standing behind looking at all the gossip magazines, a gentleman behind me nodded to me and said, “Tell him thank you” I said, “ok” with a question on my face and the man pointed to his head.  Bob was wearing a ball cap.  A Viet Nam Marine Corp ball cap.  I smiled and said “thank you I will tell him”

It made Bob proud…

It made me proud….

Thank you Bob, for serving our country and for being my husband who I love, adore, and am so proud of.

I saw your comment on my blog and stopped by to see yours and discovered the most powerful, wonderful honoring of someone that I've ever read. Your husband is one very fine man and I tip my hat to him. He also is one very lucky man to have someone like you to write such things!
