I remember this song well as my mom used to sing it to us kids all the time, love it.......:-) Hugs
Hi Linda, This reminds me of watching Laurence Welk when I was young! Fun memory.
I love the music from this era..and you're right, it made me smile!
This is one of my FAVORITES...I have the record album...LOL...yes, I still have a turn table, and all my record albums...Big smiles!!! Happy weekend to you, dear Linda! ~Janine XO
I love this Linda. My Ex mother-in-law was actually friends with one of them. They wrote letters back and forth for years. Great music!Love Di ♥
You should worry - it's not my Mum's era - it's mine!!!
Just stopping by to give you my love. Hope your week brings you much joy!! Love you, Janine XO
Oh, I had to leave your blog to turn off my music so I could listen to this (I was reluctant to for fear I might not get back in here, I've been having so much trouble accessing blogs lately!). I love The Andrew Sisters! And my favorite movie when I was little was Abbot and Costello's "Hold That Ghost" because The Andrew Sisters sang in it (the song "Aurora" was another favorite of mine!), I also loved The Lennon Sisters! Thanks for the wonderful memories, Linda!Hope you are well and smiling as much as you've made me smile!Love to you,Eileen
Linda darling I popped in to thank you for leaving such caring and comforting comment on my blog, I truly appreciate your kindness my friend. I took your advise and made tea for us both and sat down and talked to her, you were right my luv, it did work. Truth be told, I felt silly at first, but then it just was fine, it truly helped me. You are such a precious friend, thanks a million sweetie. Enjoy your week darling. Sending you warm hugs all wrapped in love.Duchess
